Time for updates!

Eston half way thru sweet sixteen- still does not have his drivers license, which drives me crazy because I know WHY! Uggggh! However, ever time I see the Allstate Insurance commercial with the tall long haired guy with a toboggan on that has rear ended the business man in a caddy- I SEE ESTON! Especially when he tilts his head at the man- unbelievable resemblance .=) Its an identical gesture that is really close to his disposition and how he looks- oh without the beard and hair of course!

Kori- She nearly unrecognizable on some days. She is growing faster than what I did and she is really becoming her own person. She is awesome! She just had another father daughter dance and she is not looking too young these days! I am so thankful that she is such a sweet kind girl- whew! I know I know I know- she is preteen- 11, I have heard just wait, but I'm thinking its gonna be ok!

Josh- he is now finished showing Rabbits! Oh my, we need a farm! He placed 5th which is awesome. We still didn't understand what took place, but he got a ribbon and a scoop for feed and all is good! Oh yeh we switched schools and wow what a difference!

Matthew is a rendition of Eston. I try real hard to not compare them, but its very strange the similarities! Matthew is such a sweetie. He is doing really well in school, now that we got all the incredible issues taken care of that wasted the first half of second grade! You couldn't convince me to go to work in these public schools for nothing. Not sure its good for children either!LOL

Me & He- Rough, real rough. Of all the times for him to be gone and work all the time- raising children isn't the time! Nope, I will debate and battle with you all day long about whats most important income or raising children- how about both!LOL

Turning Dread into Glory

It amazes me how bad, bad can be. Just when you think things are going to be ok, the bottom rockets to an abyss you never knew existed.
I think my favorite is that it doesn't target an area of my life, but targets my entire life. It shazams me all encompassing.
Sure I'm agitated, I'm agitated that it seems like the bad guy always wins. It seems like we have to be inconvenienced to make sure our family and our children are safe and ok. It seems like alot crap we have to go thru just because we know the difference- the difference between right and wrong. The accountability factor is getting us. I suppose.
Turning Dread into Glory can be summed up to be like this...........
GAS FUMES. Yes Gas fumes! You can't see them, but we have all given the credit to our cars making it to the gas station as in wow, we made it on fumes!
Having known this oh so sickening real of what its like to drive an hour to the only real city around while car on E, have no cell service, kids loaded in car and then, get this- bumppahduhdum! Pull up to a gas pump and not have a single working card (thank you hacker) no cash, no cell service and get back in the car with kids praying our sputtering car makes it the HOUR BACK HOME! And it does!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whalah............. Turning dread into Glory, Glory to God the Most High, Jesus whom is real and cares for me and my house even when the world is against us and a few other things thatcha can't see!
I say all this because life has really been sucking and I have really been doubting alot. Actually doubting everything- then a day of disbelief- one of the worst days- got me caught back up again.
May you have an Ecclesiastes moment. Eccl. 3:1 To Everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or pupose under Heaven.
Really looking forward to things getting better!
Here's to a teen to return home. A marriage not to fail. Children to hunger and thirst after the Lord. An upgraded job. Increased Health and vibrance. Last but not least for our children to be blessed and to grow up knowing real Love and for us to not live vicariously thru them and to accept them and their children unconditionally. May they never know selfishness as we have or chaos as we have known. May their children be loved and favored and their children and theirs..... so on.......May we enjoy them all the years of our life!
