Creativity! Well, its left me.........

pictures of christmas past. Use to be my THANG to make Cherry jalapeno jelly.

Why oh why did you leave me here all alone? I have searched the world over and thought I found glue gun, but you found another, more creative and fun! Hehaw mode sorry.
So very much to work with and my vision and ideas are no more. Could it be I am so thankful to be in my OWN place again that I have not a need for anything in the world but my family and ZERO TOLERANCE for OPPRESSION! F.r.E.e.d.O.M!

I pray for fresh idea's and fun things to promote good memories with my children.

I am searching the world of blogs to get ideas, you all are awesome and do some of the most adorable things!

I am going to post some years past pics to help jog my memory for ideas on festive things and a stress free Holiday Season!

41 years with out Black Friday

NO BLACK FRIDAY FESTIVITIES for me!

I was talking with D and you know, we never have gotten into the shopping the day after thanksgiving. Not sure exactly why, just never been my thing. Then again, I greatly dislike shopping of just about any kind. Can't explain that one either. It reminds me of tax-free weekends that I always avoid as well. I am really liken the deals you can get online now! Guess they're raking black Friday in online as well.
We stayed home and enjoyed Peace.

Paint! Its in me blood!

I haven't a clue why I prefer painted wood. I rather dislike the look of natural wood, whether it be mahagony, cherry, ash or what have you- not my thing. Perhaps it was too many years polishing caskets, admiring which were fine and which were not. Lame excuse if you ask me, I believe its my thing- Painted wood.
I reflected recently of the time, before we moved that, one day on a whim, yep, decided to paint Dewayne's oak table and chairs. Well, it didnt take too well, sanded, kilzed and all, so when he came home from work, he saw a sticky, awful mess in the driveway. Later, tabled ended up black laquered, kinda and went quite well in our home.

One plus year in storage took its toll on us as well as our belongings. The table didnt fair well, it bubbled and peeled, horribly. So....... you got it, i took that as an automatic sanding and a few strokes with some paint! Whalah!
I might add Dewayne is starting to like the painted wood thing, either that or he is giving up quietly!

Elmers glue sticks usually wont hold much together, however when used to glue wings to bare back, they peel off skin and make raw patches for several days.

Thank you God, Thank you for Freedom, Blessings and Mercy. Thank you for an awesome home with awesome yard and flower beds and tons of good things! To HIM be the glory
I will never forget the thorns that we treked thru, and I will always remember the roses that bloomed out of it.

Ahhhh where to begin.....okay, the kool stuff-

May I never grow complacent. May I never forget that there Really is an easier and more effective way in doing things and not grow small minded thinking, well this is how its always been done. May I never forget theres life out there & to go get some of it! May I somehow shelter my children from racism and religion. May I not forget that there were once real people who chose to do what they do and walk along side of those whom chose the same path. May I not forget the women whom carried me thru in prayer of my early days of being a stay at home mom, and a dehabilitating disease and bearing children against my will. For 2 of them(mentors) have gone on to be with the Lord, may I never forget them. May I never lose my humor. May I never forget where I came from so I never go back. May I raise my children in Christ. May I never hold it against anyone again- free will. May I realize I was created for a divine pupose and so were you- so lets act like it. May I realize the weeds were sown along side the wheat on purpose and from the beginning-don't take it personal= It all works out in the end.

I am back!
