Riding the Fence

CHANGE..............This came to me when I was thinking about my blog and what to do with it. It no longer serves the purpose I had intended it for, I no longer have the availability of HS Internet to allow me to ride it with ease, to visit or inspire. Its complicated when I look for the boundaries, and I glance back at how many times I have jumped over. After awhile I was unable to even recognized what side I was on. I clearly feel adamant about where I stand, how I believe, and in Whom I follow. But depending on what kind of mood you are in when reading this, or where you have been in life- it sometimes can push you over the fence..

Why I blogged:

  1. To keep Friends and Family up to date on kids growing and our moving-06'.

  2. To gain insight from other mommy-bloggers ( bloghers) on what to do in certain situations with children, since I did not have help or anyone/family to call for opinions & advice- since I had not followed tradition.

  3. After finding myself isolated as a SAHM after a career-it was easier to find new friends whom shared same interests.

  4. It became a source of Light for myself (reading other blogs) and for others who were walking through the valley.

  5. I realized I could be a witness even though I never seemed to leave the house.

  6. When my days were bleak from day in and day out stress, once I posted them- someone inevitable came with a word of encouragement and a word from Him.

  7. The Blog kept me from regret and encouraged me to press forward.

  8. I recognized via the transparency of many Bloghers that I was not alone in this(SAHM).

  9. I saw two sides in moms- the one, in person whom always had great children and a beautiful life vs. the realness of displaying the realness online that in essence helps others to not feel alone.

  10. The top 10th reason why I love to Blog- is....... I Love people, I love children, I love life and I get to be apart of some many via blog everytime I get on here, I see how my friends children grow, I read about the funny and sometimes sad stories. I get awesome recipes and ideas and I get to feel a part of someones life outside of my own.. I get to be an encouragement to others.

So, what's next? I want to Blog, but I want to re-vamp the whole thing. I want to be more clear , I want to stay within boundaries. I just have to figure out what exactly that is......

Any Idea's?

I Miss Life .... My little piece of Heaven..

I miss that small piece of Heaven I have experienced for the majority of my life.

What is that thing that brings the most peace and the comfort of home, only here on earth to you?

I miss a ton of things, but I really think what I miss most is others like me.

I miss getting to experience what I truly believe Heaven will look like.. Have you ever put alot of thought into the details of what Heaven will look like? I watched this awesome account on Sid Roth's the other day- and listened to the details told by this mom about what her little boy experienced in Heaven. Check out this video- it will make you so excited to see Him!

http://www.lightsource.com/ministry/its_supernatural/20091019/

Me personally, I really feel we will see anything that is in our imagination, I don't believe man made up or created anything! So if the vision or movie character is there I believe the origination came from the Creator- I believe He gives the vision..

What I miss probably the most is the piece of Heaven I have had forever now. Worshiping, praising Him next to brothers & sisters from another land, all ethnicity's, all colors, different Nations coming together to bow at His feet.

Amazing when you look around and only see white or Black or Asian or Whatever solid, how scary it gets- right? Do you get concerned for if you are even in the right place? Surely, that is not what Heaven looks like- one kind, one color, one nation. How could it? How could WE be Created in HIS IMAGE and yet allow Nationality and skin pigmentation's keep us out of the Gates?
When HE comes to get the Bride, how does HE when we are all scattered due to walls and prejudices? How is HE going to come and yet Jews and Gentiles still are separated? WE have to become one to become the Bride, the church.

I would like to hurry this up some, since things are starting to look a little bad for our immediate Country. Pray for Israel. Pray that our President doesn't give us over the enemy. Is this why America is not defined n the Bible? Because we fall under another title-such as being taken over by one of those against Israel; Persia? (Edom, Ishmaelites, Moab, Hagrites, Gebal, Ammon, Amelek, Philistine, Tyre, Assyria= Ps. 83) Maybe we join with one of Israels lost tribes- wouldn't that be nice. I would rather think its not cuz were wiped off the map by the end times.

Its clear, The enemy is the one's that come Against Israel. The Enemy hates Jewish People. Where is America headed......
There are really some major things going on right now- 2 mainstream ways of recognizing an enemy is the stance taken on Israel and Jews.

I see Heaven with a whole bunch of us bowing down and worshiping HIM, just like we did when we were here on Earth. Only magnified.

The prophet wrote in Revelation 7:9, “After this, I looked and there was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb …” Such is a vision to which we can aspire, and for which we are called, not only in our congregations but in our workplaces and communities, too. As we use the resources found here on earth to become more culturally proficient and to build more just and equitable relationships with all of our brothers and sisters, let us join in making a reality the vision of a community that welcomes, celebrates and encourages the gifts of all people. To be the Church- the Bride of Christ.

Holidays Idea's at our finger tips!

Who doesn't Love the Holiday Season, the food and the decorations, the festive atmosphere?

We all love it!
Last year, I found several blogs on here that gave such cute idea's and insight to various Holiday Treasures. I am going back on them this year to see what they have in store for us! I am ashamed that I have to arrange for an entire day to go blogging- since it takes so long to navigate now that I am on dial up=( ... I Never to get visit blogs as often as I would like- today is the day!
Traditions! Amazing how that's out the window when your without your own place .. Never crossed my mind when were setting up our own traditions for our family that this would be an issue.. 20 plus years why would I ever think about that? Our children are getting uneasy about the holidays, the excitment has turned towards stress. My pet-peeve of the season- yes, stress.. There's a reason we celebrate the season and we shouldn't loose hope. They wonder what will happen? Where will we be? What about this that we did and what about that?
Early shopping is a good thing this year with the early sales. We asked our kids "what do you want for Christmas?" they said "To move." Yes, no toys, nothing. To move....... Talk about having some work to do in making it memorable! =) We are coming up with some idea's just in case! I know I will get some great ones from your blogs!
One thing we are thinking of is a Secret Tree. I have these pictures on here- because it gives me the idea of maybe we can go outside and decorate a tree and it be "ours". Creating good memories!

As I come across these blogs- I will list them on here for you to check out as well! If you run across one or have one - just leave the link in comments and I will post it here!

Halloween 09'

Debating over doing a combo post here, I don't put much into Halloween, its for fun and its a great time to practice what we preach or is it?

A night to be yourself. hummmm... Halloween, As I wondered how this night would go after everything we have been through leading up to this point, I wondered if anyone would remember the horror we had last Halloween with Kori breaking her arm. I wondered if anything was learned, anything retained from what we do during any other time.

It was good. It was strange. It was easy. Baked a cake for the cake walk. Costumes were cheap & cute. The kids didn't say another word about it. it was a done deal, went to fall fest at school, did a little bit of trick or treating, have waaaay too much candy and now its over.
Onto the next thing.
However I did have to laugh, Josh asked some people at their home while they were giving him candy in his bag " Are you giving us SAFE kind or what? or the poisonous kind? Because I'm hungry I want to eat it now- but not if its bad".

Besides being asked every day when we are leaving, the other close second has been- I want my hair cut! So, what the heck, we went and got a hair cut. It turned out very cute, she wanted super short - so we compromised on halfway! She loves it! I have a feeling its because everyone else has a shoulder bob, she was the only one with long straight hair in elem. Humm.. we will work on the conforming part later=)
