Just the pictures.... My rant is still in Draft!!!!!!LOL!

These two have been inseparable since we moved here. They spend all their time together and even sometimes try to match the clothes colors! Their personalities are incredibly alike- sometimes I forget he is not mine!
Water is an amazing thing!
Some will stand on their heads for it! Its actually raining.
This is whats its like taking a gutter shower! UUUUGH- you should have smelt(and I meant that spelling) the hair later on that day! Yes, it was pouring down rain yesterday and these two are hamming it up!



I grab the camera when ever I can- I have a very cheap camera- have had it for years now- but it still hangs in there!
I love pics just taken with out the set up- Love the candid ones, heck I love them all. I now look back and wish I had taken more, on very rare occasions are there less than 6 kids at my house, tonight for dinner-7. We have grown so close to our neighbors and their kids!
Also, I want to say Thank You Allison for driving long distance to come bail me out today- I couldn't have got thru this horrendous mess without you! Yes, you got the number right I said 7- So about that meat on Tuesday..............LOL

A real picture of the Heavens opening up.....

and then they closed.
Last night just before dusk a storm was rolling in. We all went outside and saw literally what looked like the Window of Heaven opening up- it lasted long enough for me to grab the camera and for the kids to shout someones going to heaven, and then it was closed, the clouds covered it up. I can say I have never seen anything like that before and was the coolest perspective. We were Thankful for the glimpse!

Today was track day for Kori. She did so well and had a blast! She is incredibly excited about starting back up to school next year, I just never remembered being that excited about school! She is a sweet sweet girl, she cried as she hugged her friends today and we took pictures! I was a little upset some did not turn out.
She really has this " I will win attitude" that amazes me, and for her thickness and height she does really well! I am so proud of her.

From a very reluctant perspective......

Life as we know it has changed, yet once again. I told you so is definitely in order but not appropriate so I won't say it=)
Amazingly during this time my blog goes hay-wire, really? Why is that? Ever had a Blog-virus?

Of course, we can't go with out some sort of trauma-drama! This time its a bike wreck. Matthew plowed into the back of a huge parked truck, like to have taken his head off, handle bars and lift-gate hit his mouth. His gums were black and blue for days and lip busted, nose , face you name it- the worst part or so it seems weeks later- his 2 front teeth have turned very dark grey- how sad! They seem to be dying. I'm so thankful they are not his permenant. He has such a beautiful smile to be flawed by two huge grey teeth. Of course they do go along with the chipped part he received when he dove off the top bunk when he was 18months old.

In one day my plants died. Yep, as if that is a joke, its not. I still have some doing ok but I have nearly lost about 4- amazing and very frustrating on the timing.




My favorite song is still Decyfer Down- "Fading" I love this song.http://video.aol.com/video-detail/decyfer-down-fading-new-song/174867152. I realize its about porn addiction and how it closes in and holds captive its prey and how only God can save.. I love the song, I think because it represents so many things in life that we "fade" into. So many things take us captive and we don't even know it- when we do realize it we are bound and cannot free ourselves. This is where Jesus comes in. Nothing is too insignificant for HIM to handle, NTM He already knew it would happen. Sometimes all we can do is turn our hearts towards Him- because all other parts of us are frozen in captivity/bondage. Whether the chains are sexual or sitcoms or language or spending or eating or gossiping or judging or lying or.......The list is forever- You can be set free-

You may be imprisoned by these, and you cannot loose yourself. You want to be free—and you can be free. There is freedom for you. Jesus said, “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32, KJV). What is the truth? Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6, KJV). Jesus is the embodiment of all truth. He can free you. He can open those prison doors and let you out, if you will let Him.

I have sooo much to post about!

Whew! Thanks to all of you who tried helping me with my lovely blog issues! I was going nuts! I had over layered layouts, I had placed a three column on a two column blog or maybe that is vs. versus, couldn't log in, had crap enabled to where I couldn't make changes- OMG! Nightmare! Is there such a thing as blog virus? I wonder. Finally I woke up early today and devoted Time to follow instructions on how to get my blog back! 3 hours later...... Whalah! Still not "me" but it will do for now. I was so afraid I was going to have to start over! Anyway. Just a quick note...to say I am excited to be back up and running- whew!

Ahhhhh. The tiny glipse.....

Ever watch a plant grow? It is most similar to a child, one day they are but tiny seedlings a blip on the sonogram and the next they are running talking, playing and growing old. Same with plants. Strange correlation possibly, but it brings me to Newness and the breathe of Refreshing fact in this oh so busy world- a tiny glimpse of something that will bring forth sweet juicy goodness! Or like children, you hope so at least. I took a picture of this new tiny tomato from my grape tomato vine- I could almost assure you this wasn't there last night when I watered. But as I walked around looking and watering this am- wow, there it was. So much like our lives, isn't it? One minute your basking in the sun and richness of life and blip the next minute your in the fast lane-diving thru the drive-thru(say that 10 times fast!). No worries, have you ever watched a plant weather a storm- totally amazing. Of course, some don't always make it- thats life too. This picture of a Rose of Sharon ( Althea) is getting ready to pop into bloom- which I didn't realize as well!

There is just something about waking up and experiencing first hand the goodness and newness of the Lord, His mercy is new every day and I am just glad I get to be apart of the vine and a witness to things that seem to happen right before my eyes.

I wasn't sure if this plant would take the 50mph winds- guess it knows exactly what to do. Can you tell how surprised I am! Very much exciting to me!

and those funny things they say.....

Matthew 4yrs.: " Look, Look look what I just found (in the mall parking lot)its my pin I have been looking for it!" (as he reaches down and picks it up) He says "its mine". I said "Matthew do you know what that pin says?" (Its a button that says #1 BRAT) So I show him and tell him what it says. He replies very upset- "Ohhh man! I HAVE to be a girl for a day!"

Josh 6: Sent to his room for getting soaked outside in the hose just before we leave the house to go somewhere. As he is changing ( alone), he screams " Stop kicking me in the ass!" We hollered at him "Joshua, come here this minute, what did you say?" Um... nothing. No you said something about getting kicked in the? He replies " no I didn't say YOU kicked me in the ass, I said something was kicking me in the ass and it has since stopped.

Then the notorious Parenting with Rhetorical Questioning, you know, when NO answer is expected!

Me: How many times do I have to tell you Not to do that?
Matthew 4: 10 times ( happily, he thinks he got the answer right)

Me: Do you not understand that what you are doing is wrong?
Josh 6: Yes, I understand it clearly.

Me: I have told you over and over not to do that, why do you keep doing it?
Josh: Because I have 2 more times left.

Me: You are not allowed to hit, why did you hit him?
Matthew: Because it happened before you told me to not to.

Me: I cannot believe you guys continue to behave this way, even after I had prepared you before hand, why do you do this to me?
nearly in unison: Because you are who we belong too.

Me: Why are you smiling.... You are in trouble!
Josh: Because you told me to look for the positive and Matthew is behind you sneaking some candy!

I started writing down these things about 1-2 weeks ago, I decided I gotta remember this- its funny!
